HiTek Power can supply the major components required for a FLDU (Flash Lamp Driver Unit).
The Model SM10 (simmer module) and the Series CC1000 (capacitor charger) are ideal products for the basis of an FLDU system and they can easily be integrated into a customer-designed FLDU system. See below for product details.
HiTek Power can also design a system to meet the customer's exact requirements, including all the required components for an FLDU (simmer, capacitor charger, capacitor bank, series switches, auxiliary power and control circuitry). Output current pulses in excess of 1000A can be delivered to multiple lamps if required and systems can also be formally approved to medical standards.

Description:

The Model SM10 simmer module has been designed as a component power supply to meet the needs of flash lamps in IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), pumped laser systems, or any triggered flash lamp requirement. Powered from a 24V DC supply, this compact device will provide up to 100mA of simmer current at 100V. The SM10 incorporates a trigger pulse output to drive an external trigger transformer. Custom versions are available upon request and can be integrated into a dedicated flash lamp driver unit.

In response to this we have developed the capability to integrate the capacitor charger, capacitors, simmer and trigger components into a custom OEM package to suit the exact requirements of our customers. Using IGBT technology, we are able to provide accurate and repeatable pulses to the flash lamps with the ability to vary the pulse energy.
