Description:
These new compact, high performance photomultiplier
power supply modules have considerable advantages in size,
weight and specification over other competitive units for
PM applications and for those where 3W (PPM3/102) or 1W (PPM1/112)
output power is sufficient and high performance essential.
The PPM3/102 is a very high performance photomultiplier
power supply module designed for more general use in a variety
of applications requiring 3W output power. Line, load and
ripple performance, together with many other aspects of the
specification, are all you would expect from this professional
photomultiplier power supply module. The low case profile,
small size, weight, price and ex stock delivery make this
unit an ideal component.
The PPM3/142 is identical to the PPM3/102 except
that output is variable up to 1.4kV, 2mA.
The PPM1/112 is a directly compatible plug-in
alternative to the Hamamatsu model C1309-04 and therefore
a specialized model. With an output to -1.1kV at 0.7mA, the
control characteristics are a close match to those of the
Hamamatsu C1309-04, with the added advantage of a wider supply
voltage range; the Power Input Pins 1 & 2 can be joined
together for operation from a single external supply of +14V
to +23V.
All three models are configured for direct PCB
mounting. The low case profile and small size make these models
ideal for ‘designing in’ to equipment as components.
Tapped holes and screws are provided for fixing and are at
each corner of the underside of the units. The cast aluminum
alloy case, finished in semi-matt black paint, allows good
heat dissipation and screening is provided by an alloy base
plate. Each unit has its own serial number, providing manufacturing
date traceability, together with pin connections.
